Nathan Bush: Bianca, welcome to the checkout. We've heard all about your journey, what you and Dave have built with Our cow, which is very exciting. We're here to learn a little bit more about you. Got five quick questions. Number one, what's the weirdest thing that you've ever bought online?
Bianca Tarrant: I bought like a hair removal thing. It was like this little tool thing that you like rubbed on your skin and it was meant to remove the hair and it was like sanding my skin with sandpaper. It was the worst.
Nathan Bush: Leave a negative review?
Bianca Tarrant: No, because I read all of their reviews. I read like hundreds and I thought it was going to be the ducks nuts. They were all five star and it was the worst.
Nathan Bush: Be warned. All right, number two, who is your favorite retailer?
Bianca Tarrant: I really like High Smile. I love their website, I love their buying experience and I also really like Lorna Jane. I think they've got a great buying experience as well.
Nathan Bush: What is it about their buying experience that you love?
Bianca Tarrant: I just love the like, I guess the UX just is really friendly and it's easy to navigate and yeah, beautiful.
[Voiceover]: All right, number three, which e commerce
Nathan Bush: practice do you wish was history?
Bianca Tarrant: Price gouging? I just think like brands should be rated on their value, I guess and the like more of a value proposition rather than just wholly and solely price.
Nathan Bush: And is that linked to making sure producers get fair value for their goods?
Bianca Tarrant: Yeah, I guess like forever and ever people just think that meat should be cheap and meat's just like all one. Like meat's just meat but it's really not the case. Like there's so many different varieties and qualities and grades and everything of meat and you know, grass fed, grain fed. There's a lot that goes into farming practices. So yeah, meats, meat's just not meat. It's like the old, the, the Caltex ad. Like oils ain't oils. Meat not meat. Yeah, yeah.
Nathan Bush: Okay, cool.
[Voiceover]: Number four, can you recommend a book
Nathan Bush: or a podcast that our listeners should immediately get into?
Bianca Tarrant: I really liked True Dog by Phil Knight. And that was the Nike book podcast I really love, which has really helped me, like, I guess as a woman, understand myself. It's called Understanding Women by Alison Armstrong. And it's probably really good for blokes to listen to as well, just to understand, like, why are we, like, we are.
[Voiceover]: And what's her background?
Nathan Bush: Like, what's the topics? I haven't heard it.
Bianca Tarrant: She just talks about like the biology makeup, I guess, and of women and of men and, you know, different things that we do and a bit of explanation about why we do it.
Nathan Bush: Do you make Dave listen to it?
Bianca Tarrant: I did make him, yeah. And it just really, really helped us out, actually.
Nathan Bush: That's awesome. When you're living together and working together, I can imagine that there's a lot there. All right, number five, finish this sentence. The future of retail is exciting and online.
Bianca Tarrant: Yeah.
