In this episode of Add To Cart, we checkout someone who likens himself to a popular eighties TV character.  Didn’t we all aspire to be Magnum PI or Uncle Jesse from Full House at some point? I ended up more like Norm from Cheers – I’m showing my age now.  We’re talking to another smart, resourceful problem solver – just like Macgyver – there you go, did you get it right?  My guest is Matthew Pezzimenti, Founder and Director of Conversion Kings.  Since 2014, they’ve been working on Conversion Rate Optimisation processes for leading Australian and International brands like Koala, StyleTread and Woolworths.   Now Matt may not have a highly gelled mullet or a roll of duct tape in his back pocket, but he does know a hell of alot about creating CRO solutions to fix the problems your eCommerce business might be having.

Can you recommend a book or a podcast that our listeners should immediately get into?

Something I take alot of inspiration from is the Joe Rogan podcast because he asks good questions, because he listens and then he comes back with more insightful questions.

As conversion experts, we need to be the best at asking the good questions, because the better questions that we ask, the more insights we get out of it and the better we can help our customers.

I take alot of learnings from how he constructs his questions and how he can double down on them.
